Passionate about housing solutions

We’ve been building homes and making connections with diverse communities and industry leaders since 2005.
Inspired by so many, we’ve had our eyes opened to the housing opportunities in our own neighbourhoods that are currently being unmet. In particular, the needs of seniors in BC’s Peace River region and beyond.

With over 150 million dollars in projects completed, over 50 million dollars of projects in pre-construction planning, collaborations with Seniors Housing consulting experts and strategic partnerships with vested organizations in northern BC, we have the resources, manpower and experience to create real solutions.

Coming Soon!

FORT ST. JOHN SENIOR'S HOUSING PROJECT
AND ACTIVE ADULT COMMUNITY

We are full steam ahead!
On July 22nd, 2019, Fort St. John City Council gave the green light for Peace Holdings to develop an active adult community next to the Fort St. John Hospital.

Thank you
This was truly a community effort, and there are so many people to thank, including those who took the time to write letters of support and the many who show up, time and again, to champion this project. The council heard directly from people with mobility challenges, seniors, affordable housing advocates and parties invested in the economic growth of Fort St. John.

Next Steps
Our next steps will include meetings with engineers and planners to refine the process, as well as continuing talks with an interested non-profit regarding the management of the new development.

Check back regularly as we move this project forward. If you would like to be kept up to date on this, and other senior housing initiatives, please sign-up for our Seniors Housing Initiative emails using the form at the bottom of this page.

PHASE 1
CONTINUUM OF CARE PROJECT CONSULTATION

Phase 1 of the Continuum of Care Project Consultation completed January 2019.

We are in the process of designing a community in Fort St. John, located next door to the new hospital, that accommodates a full Continuum of Care for older adults – providing residents with the flexibility and freedom to transition within their own community.

To ensure that we meet the immediate needs of residents, we held the Seniors Housing Forum - a needs and interests’ assessment - where we engaged with the community directly. It was important to us to hear what residents had to say, and in their own words.

The Seniors Housing Forum was a great success.

A report that summarizing the findings, and specifically the data uncovered during the Continuum of Care Survey and Public Senior Housing Focus Groups, is available for viewing.

PHASE 2
COMMUNITY CONSULTATION SURVEY

Phase 2 of the Continuum of Care Project Consultation completed May 2019.

Our second phase of consultation built on the successes of the first, and dug deeper into the needs and requirements of the senior community. We developed a new series of questions focused on unit size, format and affordability criteria which will be instrumental in helping to shape these areas of the proposed development.
Stay tuned for results from Phase 2 of our Community Consultation.
